Just a friendly piece of advice. You'll want to learn how to block the tab/enter trick in future projects. It makes the game all too easy.

All things considered, pretty good game. I know you're just getting started, so I have to factor that into my judgement. I'll try to be as constructive as possible without hurting anyone's feelings.

1: Keep working on your art. Try to develop your own, unique style.
2: Dig deep into the audio portal to find music that really fits your project. Who knows? You might even find an awesome musician to collaborate with.
3: Make sure you master your audio. Audacity is a nice free sound editor, and there are some great tutorials online on how to mix and master sound effects.

Again, this shows some real promise, and I hope to see more from you in the future.

Jeffyx responds:

Thanks for the feedback bro. Ill work harder at it next time, make it longer, and find a better song to fit the game. By the way I didnt make the song, its by LHM :p.

I really don't like giving you two stars for this, because basically, this is a well-made game. Unfortunately, there's nothing beyond that. There's no character to it. Yes, it's a 2012 joke, but how is it yours? There is nothing more to the game than dodging meteors with the Earth. Why not have the Earth scream in pain every time you lose, or show it with a big whole in it? I'm not saying you have to do that, but there's got to be more than just "You lose". Throw in some of your personality. What's more, try bringing more original art into the mix. You'll be surprised what you can do if you just give it a shot. Then there's the music. It doesn't really match the situation, so you either need to address it or you may want to throw in a more epic, post-apocalyptic soundtrack, which we have plenty of here in the audio portal.

Like I said before, it's not a bad game. It just doesn't feel fully fleshed out yet.

I uploaded this just to see the response of the Newsground Community. I'll work on this game later, and re-publish it when everything is sorted:
-Storyline
-Better Music

I don't see much of anything, and I mean ANYTHING, in your "chat" that wouldn't be a much better fit on Facebook or some forum (maybe even the Newgrounds forum). Everything else just seemed to rehash what far too many other people have said or done. If you're going to try to exert your take on this matter, actually have some new ideas or a more interesting way to show them.

Lenke responds:

i just make games, also i make songs but the people don't like it because they are philosophical and depressive songs (and based on a guitar detuned). So i just make this "game" against SOPA/PIPA...

Done before

I would be failing the world if I did not explain that satire is an art form of modernity and individuality. Either you have to get to something first or be able to play it off from a viewpoint or style that no one has done before. You've committed one of the greatest sins of all. You're copying your own style from ten years ago on a topic that everyone and their great grandmother's thirteenth cousin has covered, yourself included. The game adds nothing new to the discussion, and is thus worthless in that respect. Now, on the technical side of things, there is nothing obviously wrong with the game other than the bland, 17-second musical loop, the cheaply degraded background art, the "luck-of-the-draw" style of difficulty settings, and the half-hearted feeling of the project as a whole. Now, anonymous' art (whatever part of this was his original work) was pretty well done, and the game was without bugs (to the extent of my knowledge), but this game lacked the heart and soul of a satire and fell immediately into the realm of bandwagoning.

9/11 is a fun subject to poke at.

But yeah, this was made the same day it was released, so it's not like we could have done -too- much with it... Hence all the boring lack-luster gameplay and shitty background art (Done by me, not the artist).

Also let's just say that if the artist's name was on this flash, It would probably have close to 100k views... Considering how big he is on the site, but for obvious reasons, he wanted his name omitted from the work.
